Why we're here
The global pandemic made it clear that home is more important than ever. Not only the place but, and more importantly, the people we share a home with. Unfortunately for many Canadians, the pandemic has also deepened two parallel crises — housing affordability and loneliness.
A closer look at our existing housing supply reveals that there are over 12 million empty bedrooms across Canada. We have an opportunity and responsibility to reimagine how we use and share our housing space.

What we do
We are a homesharing platform and community that matches hosts who have spare bedrooms with people seeking budget-friendly places to live. We see 12 million empty bedrooms as 12 million opportunities to reduce housing costs, build social connections, and increase quality of life for Canadians.
There's magic in living together, and we hope to further catalyze the homesharing movement by making it safe, easy, and enjoyable to share space.
Where we're going
Our vision is a world where people live better together. We plan on bringing Sparrow to all neighborhoods in need of new housing opportunities, stronger financial stability, and greater social connection. Our world is changing fast, and the way we live will change with it.
