To secure accommodation through Sparrow, you'll need to create a profile, submit an application, meet your host and view the property, undergo background and credit checks, review and sign the rental agreement, complete payments, and then you're ready to move in.

Yes, housemates get to schedule viewings to tour, ask questions, and determine if it's the right fit for them first.

Typically the listings are furnished and have utilities included. Housemates will also have access to amenities in the home. Some hosts may not include utilities and certain amenities.

We manage all rent payments and deposits securely through our platform, offering housemates a safer way to pay rent. Rent requests will be sent automatically from Sparrow each month and sent directly to your host. The rent deposit, which ranges from 1/2 month to a full month's rent depending on geography, is required to reserve your room.

This deposit is safely held without interest and will be returned to you at the end of your stay, provided there are no damages or unpaid rent.
